Hi All,
I have good news. The audio mod didn't work
The audio is still mute.
I tested the mod now ( 7.39 PM in Egypt)
Please does anyone test it ?

Which modifications did you EXACTLY make? Please, be as more detailed as you can.

Hi,
I make the mod in Comcrypt4000M byElPibe decoder analogico.zip
The mod is
locate IC801: solder pin 1 and 2 together between pin 3 and 4 put a resistance of 15 Ohm (brown-green-black).
Locate the (big) delta chip: release pin 18. cut the copper line to pin 18 and reroute this line with a wire to pin 33 of the delta chip (same chip). solder pin 16 and pin 17 together. make a wire route from pin 23 to testpoint T47 (is located next to the channal down button ).
Locate IC301: Locate trimmer R219 (so on topside to locate at the left): take the pin that's connected to the smd resistance R226 with a RESISTANCE OF 2K2 OHM toward pin 10 of IC301. solder pin 8 and 9 together
But it didn't work. before the mod there is a continous noise in the coded channels after the mod there is any noise (there is noise from time to time)

You said: "before the mod there is a continous noise in the coded channels" So I presume you made a modification on a preceding modification(I suppose that of golftouch.nl). That modification I gave you, I remember, is made to enable video and audio at the same time, together. So I think you had to restore the original status of the decoder(before modification of golftouch.nl) and then execute the lines you wrote. Try again

He means, you should remove your previous video mod(the one we all know )and make BOTH the new video+audio mod. I suppose this is the way to get sound. As soon as i get my hands on an unmoded 4000M i'll give it a try and let you know
cheers

Hi ALL,
I borrowed my friend's decoder. It without any mod. It's ComCrypt 4000M, Delta 5.5 , Version 2.4
I did the audio mod.
When i connected the decoder. I notice a blank screen in all encrypted channels with flashing "E3" and flashing yellow led !
From the comcrypt manual
"E3" Error means "Outside normal transmission hours. This indicate that a closed business broadcast or special service is taking place."

El Pibe modification(What I give to you) is both video and audio modification. What you did with golftouch.nl is video only. El Pibe modification is for COMCRYPT 4000 REV. 1.3(and this should be sure). So you can't(probably) apply El Pibe modification on another modification(that El Pibe probably doesn't know!! And so, how could he imagine a modification on a modification that he didn't know?). What you have to do to try is: Look at the page of golftouch.nl in which it's explained what you have to do to modify your comcrypt. Change every operation whith its contrary(For example: golftouch.nl said "you have to connect two pins". You have to disconnect two pins.) until your decoder is in the original form(that's when you opened for the first time your comcrypt). Then, finally, apply the modifications of El Pibe. Now is it clear?
*** For Comcrypt 4000M, Delta 5.5, Revision 2.4... Sincerely I don't know any modification. El Pibe didn't say its modification is for that model.

Hi,
Ok. I tried the mod on both comcrypt v2.1 (Delta 5.4) & v2.4 (Delta 5.5) without any success
Did anyone give it another try ?

BTW does anyone found the T47 in the 4000M v2.4???I am sure there isnt.I believe the company didnt name this testpoint in the new versions of the decoder(on purpose??) Thanks...

;)hi, as a matter of interest, the t47 point on my decoder 4000i runs directly to the normaly open tab of the programme switch, between on/off and chanel up/down switches. when i connect a wire from pin 23 5.4 to t47, i get a narow line on the left side of my screen, and when i depress the programme button the picture apears??? no sound though and picture slightly out of line sync. any ideas? Well i have a CC4000M Version 3.1 here, and the pcb is totally different... The main IC's now are only 2 SMD IC's in the bottom of the pcb . Making impossible to compare with older DELTA mods ... Even the mod for CC4000M is not for this pcb... Pity.... Lakis - Greece

Well i have a CC4000M Version 3.1 here, and the pcb is totally different... The main IC's now are only 2 SMD IC's in the bottom of the pcb . The 'delta' replacement chip is SMD with about 100 pins !!! [bored to count exactly] and called IC501. and also another one near probably the microcontroller, A-62530 called IC502.. That's all , all other IC's are TTLs and CMOS standard IC's Making impossible to compare with older DELTA mods ... Even the mod for CC4000M is surely not for this pcb... Pity.... Lakis - Greece
